Five Minute Friday: Delight

Around here we write for five minutes flat on Fridays.

We write because we want to, not because we have to. We write for fun, for joy, for discovery at how much creativity is crammed in our heads and even if we just unlock if for five minutes it can paint the world in dazzling wonder.

On Fridays we just write without worrying if it’s just right or not. It’s such a relief, I promise.

DELIGHT

Go

When I hear the word Delight I think about Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thy heart.

I stop and think “What are the desires of my heart?” Are they clean and pure following after God?
I want to delight after God…I want God to fill my heart with His desires.

I want to teach my son to delight in the Lord…If I am not delighting in the Lord how can I show him how?

I want others to know that my daily life is lived through the Lord’s desires for my life…

    There were so many different things one could write about I just wish we were given ten minutes :) lol but the appealing part is the shortness of time to blog. Ah, lol!

    Isn’t it amazing how fast the five minutes goes? phew! Like a whirlwind passing by, attempting to collect a few thoughts from the swirling dust. Fun, though, a good way to spend a few minutes out of our days.
