Short work week…

Busy Schedule.  I have had an extremely busy week and it is only Wednesday!  On Sunday night, after church, we had about 15 friends over for dessert and games.  It was great fun… We played “Catch Phrase” guys versus girls.  On Monday, my dad called and told me that my Great Uncle Gordon (my mom’s uncle) had passed away that morning.  He had a stroke the week before and on Saturday he had been given 24-48 hours to live.  I am doing okay, I thought I might be traveling to Michigan with my mom for the funeral but airline tickets were about $400 apiece so we decided not to go.  On Monday evening, we were back at the church for a homeschooling conference… James was running the sound and I was helping Mrs. Gibbs the III sell their books.  David Gibbs III was the keynote speaker.  It was a great time of fellowship and serving.

Yesterday, I worked all day and then spent the evening at home relaxing.  It was the only evening James and I would have home alone this week.  This evening we have church and tomorrow James leaves for GSACS Teacher’s Convention in Ventura.  He will be back Friday afternoon and his parents will be coming to visit us for Friday and Saturday.  While James is in Ventura I will be having a couple teen girls spend the night.  We are going to Ontario Mills and going to watch chick flicks.  I am looking forward to having the time off but it will be busy.
