Short work week…
Busy Schedule. ¬†I have had an extremely busy week and it is only Wednesday! ¬†On Sunday night, after church, we had about 15 friends over for dessert and games. ¬†It was great fun… We played “Catch Phrase” guys versus girls. ¬†On Monday, my dad called and told me that my Great Uncle Gordon (my mom’s uncle) had passed away that morning. ¬†He had a stroke the week before and on Saturday he had been given 24-48 hours to live. ¬†I am doing okay, I thought I might be traveling to Michigan with my mom for the funeral but airline tickets were about $400 apiece so we decided not to go. ¬†On Monday evening, we were back at the church for a homeschooling conference… James was running the sound and I was helping Mrs. Gibbs the III sell their books. ¬†David Gibbs III was the keynote speaker. ¬†It was a great time of fellowship and serving.
Yesterday, I worked all day and then spent the evening at home relaxing. ¬†It was the only evening James and I would have home alone this week. ¬†This evening we have church and tomorrow James leaves for GSACS Teacher’s Convention in Ventura. ¬†He will be back Friday afternoon and his parents will be coming to visit us for Friday and Saturday. ¬†While James is in Ventura I will be having a couple teen girls spend the night. ¬†We are going to Ontario Mills and going to watch chick flicks. ¬†I am looking forward to having the time off but it will be busy.
