Are we winning the lost?
So we had an evangelist at church lat night and he challenged us to win souls to Christ. ¬†It was an excellent message, very convicting! ¬†It wasn’t one of those if you don’t win souls you are not a good Christian, but a message about how souls are close to God’s heart and are they close to ours. ¬†I was convicted about my testimony and am I really trying to love people the way God does! ¬†I sometimes get so caught up in my own life that I forget about the people around me who have no hope. ¬†I realized that I need to start looking for someone I can be a blessing to instead of maybe avoiding them because I don’t want to deal with their problems! ¬†I enjoyed the way he emphasized prayer. ¬†He didn’t push the issue of¬†door knocking¬†but he pounded out the issue of prayer. ¬†he said that if we bath our soul winning in prayer God will lead us to the right doors, and you won’t have to knock very many until you find the one that is ready to hear about salvation. ¬†I am praying that the Lord will start to use me and that I will allow Him to guide me in this area!
